FAQ
What if there is a history of failure in IVF?
Not all patients successfully become pregnant even after several attempts at in vitro fertilization (IVF). This becomes not only a medical, but also a psychological problem. Therefore, each couple must be realistic about its possible results before conducting such a procedure. When to do it, how long it takes to recover depends on the health of each woman individually. The exact time for repeated artificial insemination should be determined by the attending physician.
At what age can IVF be done?
A woman's age is important for successfully implanting a fertilized egg in the uterine cavity. The younger the woman, the more functional the endometrium of her uterus, the better its blood supply. For woman older than 35 who has suffered some inflammatory gynecological diseases, possibly having abortions or uterine surgery, the endometrium cannot be optimal for rapid and successful implantation.
What is a cryobank?
The cryobank is a special storage where biological material is stored in the special environment of liquid nitrogen at a temperature minus 196 degrees. It can be kept there for many years.
Cryopreservation - ultra-rapid freezing of eggs, sperm, embryos and genital tissues with the preservation of their biological functions after a period of storage and thawing.
What is IVF?
IVF is fertilization outside the body: eggs and sperm are removed from the body, fertilization occurs in the laboratory. Then the fertilized eggs are placed in the incubator for 5-6 days and in the process of division they are put in the uterus.
IVF is recommended in many cases of infertility, which cannot be cured otherwise - in serious pathologies of the fallopian tubes that caused their obstruction and even in their complete absence, a small number of full-fledged mobile sperm for the partner, immunological infertility, endometriosis.
